DROZ Dominates 2017 “Marketer of the Year” Awards (Again)!

Once again, we are pleased to announce that the American Marketing Association (AMA) has recognized Droz Marketing clients as “Marketers of the Year,” and for the sixth consecutive year, Droz Marketing is still the nation’s leader, having garnered 28 such awards, near 50% of all such awards granted, including the coveted “Grand Marketer of the Year, ” unprecedented by any marketing firm or agency in America. Dan Droz attributes the accomplishment to “the willingness of our clients to be open to new ideas.”

Each year, the American Marketing Association bestows “Marketer of the Year” awards, the ‘Oscars of Marketing,’ for both the creative work and ultimate success of their marketing campaigns. Design firms, ad agencies and marketing departments from the region’s largest companies submit their best work to a panel of marketing gurus chosen by the leadership of the American Marketing Association, to showcase the top marketing campaigns produced in a given year. This year, Droz winning clients were:

Johnston Lykos, a newly formed law firm founded by Colleen Johnston and Nikki Lykos and specializing in employment law and discrimination issues. Judges were impressed by the sophisticated marketing program and accompanying materials that positioned the firm as a major innovator in the employment law sector and led to the rapid expansion of the firm, helping their clients protect themselves from discriminatory practices, including harassment and a variety of other important employment issues. Colleen Johnston, a founding partner, credits Droz with “articulating our position in the market, elevating us to a position of market leadership and creating a systematic way of nurturing leads so prospects were more favorably disposed towards our services.”

Mine Vision Systems, a Pittsburgh-based startup that has developed new technology to autonomously map underground mines and construction sites, won for their branding and marketing strategy designed to disrupt two industries, resulting in two successful investment rounds and global customer acquisition. Brian Reed, the firm’s marketing director, was pleased with the recognition by the American Marketing Association, but even more happy with the results of the campaign: “As a result of our marketing and growing reputation, we have become a recognized leader in autonomous geo-spacial mapping, positioned to help our customers improve productivity and provide safer environments for those who work in dangerous workplace settings.”
